My wife and I went to The Berkeley for dinner before heading to a show in the theater district. Our waiter, Greg, was extremely attentive and mindful of our time table. His polish and class reminded us of European servers, but without the attitude :). The food was absolutely amazing. The mussels were the largest and most flavorful we've ever experienced. The steak (Steak Frites) was done perfectly. The wine list is phenomenal. We are partial to Loire and Rhone wines, and each one we tried was exquisite. Julia checked in with us a couple of times. Very personable. The quality of food, wine and service was that of a high end restaurant but at very reasonable prices in an elegant, relaxing atmosphere. Berkeley will be our "go to" restaurant whenever we are in Boston! I highly recommend it!
We went there on July 4 for the first time and it was such a hidden gem! We met the manager, Julia, and she was just fantastic. Showed us her creative drink menu and told us about the history of the spot. It was such an enjoyable experience and we will definitely be back!
We had a Thanksgiving meal that couldn't be beat! The price was very reasonable for the amount and the quality and the excellent service we received. Main dish was served, but never ending buffet of sides, soup, appetizers, charcuterie and to top it off, individual pies and desserts. They even asked if we wanted to take extra home! Such a friendly and attentive staff. We will be talking about this for years to come.

Excellent breakfast experience, highly recommended. Very comfortable modern interpretation of a secluded tavern with extremely attentive staff and best tasting breakfast I’ve had on the east coast, including NYC.
First time here for lunch and it was excellent. Went simple for lunch and had the fish and chips. I’m picky about my fries but these were crispy on the outside and tender inside. The fish was to die for. The batter was seasoned to perfection and the inside was tender and flaky. Loved it all. Service was also top notch, it was a rare lovely July day with no humidity so it was a perfect day to sit and relax.
We enjoyed the live music on Thursday evening and the server was very accommodating to the 11-year-old with us. The lobster rolls and sushi were good.
I dropped by here for a quick breakfast from the hotel. I got the Avocado Tartine that was nice and simple. No complaints
I had a great experience here. JOSE, the bartender, made me two amazing cocktails and provided excellent service. The manager, LENY, is truly one of a kind — super attentive, knowledgeable, and welcoming. Highly recommended!
